Looking for a poetic vision of the kitchen then Arthur Bonnet designed a solution for you.
Arthur Bonnet asked designer Thibault Desombre to design Rendez-vous, a kitchen with a clearly asserted identity. Thibault Desombre, who trained as a cabinetmaker and is a former journeyman*, has a very personal vision of the designer approach, combining use with a poetic dimension: « Rendez-vous refers to the fact that this is a meeting between the past and the contemporary world with the use of stylistic elements taken from history. It's also a meeting between materials that make a strong impact: wood, with very warm oak; aluminium, which is very modern, and the colour and shine of lacquer… And of course Rendez-vous also refers to the meeting that takes place round the table at mealtimes.»

A kitchen with a strong personality
At first glance, the Rendez-vous model is obviously a kitchen which has a very contemporary character that is also extremely welcoming. The distinctive features of this model are the aluminium fronts of drawers under the work surface, reminiscent of tulip-shaped Louis-Philippe style mouldings. Next you can't help noticing the convivial « living area » intended to witness the « small and great pleasures of daily life » as Thibault Desombre puts it. Its character is also defined by the lustre of its beautiful aluminium features, the sobriety of its shiny white lacquered fronts devoid of knobs and handles, and the immaculate natural aspect of its ebony-veined oak finish.
An ingenious living area
The sobriety of its lines hides a kitchen that has been designed to make life easier on a daily basis. Thanks to an ingenious system, the table can be opened to sit four to seven people and reveals some very clever storage spaces which puts everything you need for breakfast close at hand (toaster and coffeemaker directly plugged in, bowls, cornflakes, etc.) as well as a discretely integrated table mat. Thanks to Rendez-vous, your kitchen will be so much more convivial. An exceptional area in which to enjoy daily life, where meals are prepared, where you can eat as a couple or as a family, an area that is also perfectly capable of adopting a festive air for dinner with friends.
Electrical appliances keep a low profile
This kitchen is nothing like a laboratory, so we had no intention of creating a visual break between the furniture and electrical appliances: along with its aluminium finishings such as the tulip-shaped strip, all AEG electrical appliances merge with their environment! Multifunction oven, steam oven, dual gas/induction hob… the Rendez-vous kitchen has everything a cordon-bleu cook could wish for. As for cleaning facilities, the square bowl of the sink contrasts with the pleasantly rounded shapes of Franke plumbing fixtures.
