Today we are featuring A kitchen that makes a strong statement.
With Rendez-vous, your kitchen will truly gain in conviviality, becoming an exceptional area in which to enjoy daily life, where meals are prepared, where you can eat as a couple or as a family, an area that is also perfectly capable of adopting a festive air for dinner with friends. The aluminium fronts of drawers under the work surface – with their allusion to the tulip-shaped Louis-Philippe-style moulding – are the model's characteristic features.
Another original aspect is its convivial and incredibly practical « living area » which is meant to witness the « small and great pleasures of daily life » as designer Thibault Desombre puts it. Rendez-vous is a fitted kitchen that makes a strong statement: proof of which is the choice of noble material such as aluminium, the sobriety of its shiny white lacquered fronts devoid of knobs or handles, and the immaculate natural aspect of its ebony-veined oak finish.
Resolutely modern black lacquer
Rendez-vous is a model designed to suit very different kitchens, without ever losing its very unique identity. In this black version, it takes on an urban spirit, and elegant and sophisticated modernity. Its highly structured volumes highlight the mix of materials used. The aluminium tulip-shaped strip and aluminium feet of the island unit, white laminated work surface with ABS edging covered with a sheet of aluminium, contrast with the shiny black lacquer fronts devoid of knobs or handles. The fronts of the wall units and the living area in solid oak and oak veneer add an unexpected touch of warmth.
Winner of the "Observeur du Design 2009" quality label
With this Rendez-vous kitchen model by designer Thibault Desombre, Arthur Bonnet was awarded the "Observeur du Design 2009" quality label. Ergonomics and sensations, day to day modernity, audacity and harmony, a rendez-vous between style and pleasure... In just a few words Thibault Desombre defines the Arthur Bonnet world: « Rendez-vous sums up the poetry of meeting people and the joys of sharing and exchanging, in other words the pleasure of being together.
